Mobilecoin Soars 300% As Twitter Aims to Integrate Signal Protocol for Encrypted Messaging

According to tech writer Jane Manchun Wong, Twitter is reintroducing encrypted direct messaging (DMs). There are indications, in Wong's opinion, that the social media platform will use Signal Protocol for its encrypted private communication.

Signal Protocol is mentioned in the code for the Twitter iOS app, according to images given by Manchun Wong. Wong also disclosed that the functionality is being developed for the Twitter app for Android.

Elon Musk has provided various indications about his strategy for Twitter 2.0, which centers on turning it into an all-encompassing platform. Along with revealing more ideas and demonstrating the effectiveness of the platform, Musk has also shown encrypted private communications.

Some members of the bitcoin community have predicted that the payments function would include cryptocurrency integration. The communities for Bitcoin and Dogecoin are enthusiastic about the addition of the two cryptocurrencies. In the previous day, Dogecoin has increased by 8.1%.

Data from LunarCrush also reveals that after Elon Musk took over the organization, spam on Crypto Twitter has decreased by more than 50%. Since LunarCrush started studying the data in January 2018, this is the biggest reversal.

According to data from CoinMarketCap, MobileCoin increased by over 300% in the previous day after hearing about the Signal Protocol integration.
