Chief Strategy Officer at Bitrue Remarks on the Ripple Partnership

Robert Quartly-Janeiro, the Chief Strategy Officer of cryptocurrency trading platform Bitrue, has provided his thoughts on the future of the $XRP coin as well as the company's cooperation with Ripple, the leading $XRP player in the market.

Quartly-Janeiro emphasized that Ripple is a project that has been active in the cryptocurrency industry since 2012 and has "certainly weathered several market cycles" in a statement shared with CryptoGlobe.

2020 saw the SEC file a lawsuit against Ripple and two of its executives on the grounds that they sold unregistered securities when they released XRP coins worth $1.3 billion. XRP is not a security, according to Ripple.

Ripple's CEO, Brad Garlinghouse, stated earlier this year that he thought the business will win its legal battle with the government. Several significant cryptocurrency companies have registered to endorse Ripple in the recent weeks, including Coinbase and the Blockchain Association.
