Tezos Introduces Version 12 of Its Technology Smoother and More Secure Blockchain

The 12th protocol upgrade, "Lima," which was selected and approved by the Tezos community, has been launched on one of the first Proof of Stake blockchains, Tezos. The new version reduces the likelihood that smart contracts may have issues, boosts throughput, and includes a feature that validators have been begging for.

The energy-efficient Tezos is referred regarded as the "self-amending blockchain" due to its ability to easily update thanks to its on-chain governance mechanism, which enables network members to propose and vote on protocol upgrades and changes. Lima brings with it the fourth protocol modification in 2022 alone.
