Numerous cryptocurrencies have survived the FTX, and Terra Luna collapses and has persisted in attracting investors. The most frequently searched cryptocurrency on Google is still bitcoin. According to dollar geek data, there were 4,570,000 searches for bitcoin in the US each month in 2022.
Global searches for the most popular coin, presently trading at 16,833.41, totaled 28,410,000 each month.
Elon Musk’s preferred meme coin, Dogecoin (DOGE), which saw 5,850,000 monthly global searches in 2022, is in second place. Shiba Inu(SHIB), which receives 1,290,000 monthly US searches, outpaces DOGE’s 729,000 US searches.
SHIP, however, was unable to overtake DOGE for second place since DOGE’s 4,430,000 global monthly searches are significantly more than the 4,430,000 for SHIB.
However, Ethereum (ETH) had fallen to fourth place when it came to piquing investor interest, as the coin received 3,840,000 searches globally and 611,000 searches in the US per month.
With 861,000 monthly global searches and 534,000 US searches, Avalanche (AVAX) completes the top five.
With 796,000 global searches, Litecoin (LTC) took sixth place. Cardano (ADA) ranked seventh with 247,000 US searches, less than LTC’s 269,000 US searches and 1,470,000 global searches.
The XRP cryptocurrency from Ripple, SafeMoon, and Nexos was ranked eighth, ninth, and tenth, respectively.
